I always feel so pretentious when I’m writing about myself, whether it’s writing a blog post, a resume, or a biography for a year 7 project. I just always feel as though as I’m making myself seem special. It’s not as if I go about saying my life is perfect, or that I’m rich or that I deserve attention for the (lack 0f) a life I’ve to date lived.

Truth be told my life is rather quite slow, somewhat boring.

I work Monday to Saturday, get paid on a Tuesday, Overdrawn $100 from my bank account by Sunday and never seem to find anything in my life as interesting as I would like it to be. Sure, I’m not expecting more of myself or anything like that. I’ve always been comfortable with being mediocre. I’ve never been fast, I’ve never been smart, I’ve never been overly creative or artistic, I’ve never known too much about anything and I’ve never had more than I’ve needed, only the basics and maybe just under. But I’ve still remained happy with what I have. Sure it can be depressive sometimes thinking that I will never amount to what society projects as what I need to be, and It would be nice to actually be legitimately good at something. In retrospect there are heaps of things in life which I wish I could take back, or change the way things could have turned out…

I have no idea where this post is going..

See, I’m boring. Here are the facts in a way which are not 2LDR:

• I work a crappy job 6 days a week for pay which really isn’t worth the energy used to do it.
• I spend all my money on crap I dont need, I even pay too for things which aren’t mine and don’t ask for anything in return.
• I spend most of my time reading about useless information which would usually never come in handy.
• When I’m not out wasting money with friends I’m at home complaining about whatever takes my fancy – Usually just to myself.
• I haven’t had a working relationship since god knows when.
• I’m too lazy to improve my own life.
• I make out that I’m happier than I always am.

And that’s pretty much it in a nutshell, There’s more that I could write but today’s just one of those days where I have a mental mind block – It literally feels as if there is something blocking off the rear top half of my brain from thinking.

So i want a tattoo! Obvious choices for me where Clyde the Orange ghost (Pacman), the mushroom icon from Super Mario, and Astroboy. After being LAFFED at from my friends I decided it was time to think srs bzns! So I thought about the obvious, My last name, My initials, My birthdate in roman numerals.. All of which are absolutely BORE. So i thought zany again; penguins, koalas, hispanic pimps and hoes riding rhinos to a tolder’s third birthday, when suddenly I realised I had only made the above options up whilst writing this blog. So now I’m opting for a Panda.

I have brought the thought of a Panda to my friends, with many of them giving me slightly confused dazes. However, I believe this is my one! You see, Pandas are Tyson’s FAVOLITE animal, not because they taste great or because they are so cute and cuddly (bitch, you piss one off and you be paying for it!), but because of one simple fact. They’re multicultural (LIKE MUAH). Black, white and asian (LIKE MUAH) and because they’re just so freaking awesome..

So then it came to deciding how i want it. The positioning of the tattoo was a no-brainer for me, ON MA RIST SO DA CHIX CAN C IT DUH! But how the hell is the Panda going to sit there? Is he going to be fat and cute, fat and mean, anorexic and scene? I’ve decided against all of those to something much more freaking awesome. I PRZNT 2U INK BLOT TEST 2010:

I think it looks freaking awesome, Something quite similar to that would be awesome, no white background, just the plain black on my skin! I think its cute enough to be a panda, not cute as to the extent that I look like I just got my ass bleached, and it is what i want it to be, A FREAKING PANDA!

I have not put this current idea past anybody yet, as i know with this would come the many doubts and the “omg you are so stupid” I DONT CARE! I LOVEE DA IDEA OF A FREAKING PANDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA! Im so excited, the only thing i’m not looking out for is the price of it

Valentines Day is the same as every other day. People die, people are born. People cry, people laugh. People masturbate, people have sex. People kill others and people are killed by others. All the while there is war, torture, abuse, rape, hatred, and of course love.

But why is it that we focus on the latter? Is it because they’d rather choose to forget about how horrible life can and inevitably will be? Is it because the feeling of need is stronger than any other day of the year? Is it because this day is just a day where people feel more obliged to show affection due to the marketing of the day? Or is it just because we are told to be romantic on this day? My answer? All of the above, in result of the latter.

We’ve all been told in our Westernised global culture that February 14 is the day we show our love. But does anybody know why? Does anybody even call it St. Valentines anymore? These questions are what are wrong with this day.

The day is clouded in mystery, celebrating fictional traditions and a man whom nobody knows. Even the Catholic church don’t know why St. Valentine is a Saint.

So why do we choose to celebrate a day for all the wrong reasons? It might be the same as Christmas, Birthdays or Easter. Because we’ve all been told we need to celebrate the commercial value of said holidays. These days are all a marketer’s dream; days where splurging on unnecessary and unrelated items are at a high, because not celebrating is considered taboo, and where greed is the fuel which burns the desire for us wanting gifts, affection and belonging in a society which would rather celebrate just because they’ve been told to.

Which brings me to this; Valentine’s Day is what is wrong with society. We needn’t a day to show our love, but we choose today to show our love because everybody else is doing it. Today is a day about getting better than everybody else; A larger bear, more roses, and more extravagant chocolate.  You shouldn’t need one day a year to show your affection, flowers should be given everyday, chocolates every second, and a bear whenever you can’t be there to hug.

Just one last thing, why is there an entire day given for one emotion? If love gets a day, I believe all human emotions should get a day. A day for Hatred, a day for lust, a day for sorrow, a day for happiness, a day for fear, and a day for suspense. Sure some emotions already have their own days (Sorrow marks the day a year after a tragic event, fear a day in halloween, suspense for WWDC) but these days are all overtaken by, yup you guessed it, greed.

Due to some stupid issues with the domain provider I was unable to renew my service, but now I’ve got it all sorted out and it’s awesome!

I really missed my email. But I also missed owning my own domain, it’s weird but you know having a domain is almost like having a kid. You pay for it, you name it and you embed BBcode into it and watch it grow! Lovely!

Whether we’ll be seeing a whole lot of activity is another question, I though I might be more active due to the fact that I no longer have school, so bitching about working will be at an all time high! Stories about my recent one month of nothing shall follow. Stay tuned!
